Bedřichov

The mountain resort of Bedřichov is located in the Jizera Mountains around 15 km from the towns of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. The village offers ideal conditions for winter and summer sports and its very nature makes perfect for families with children. The downhill ski resort of Malinovka is found within the village itself, with another resort, Hrabětice, only 5 km away. Bedřichov is also the starting point of the network of cross-country skiing tracks known as the "Jizerská magistrála". During the summer, Bedřichov and its surroundings are ideal for walking trips, cycling, and relaxation. A number of hiking trails are accessible to wheelchair users and mothers with prams. The village is also equipped with a standard network of services for tourists. One of the main historic monuments here consists of the remains of a Renaissance glassworks from the end of the 16th century. There are also numerous viewing towers and tourist chalets in the vicinity.
