About the region

Habartice

Habartice. The town is situated at an average altitude of 240 metres above sea level in a gentle, peaceful area behind the mountains. Indeed it stands in direct contact with the town of Zawidów in Poland (previously known as Seidenberk). 4-6 thousand people live in the Polish town here. The town is home to a border crossing of the same name, which is open 24 hours a day. This crossing is intended for pedestrians, passenger cars, buses, and trucks up to 3.5 tons. Discussions are currently underway about increasing this tonnage to 12 tons.

The surrounding area is home to ponds and trout waters, a forest swimming pool, the "Pašerácká II" cycling trail, sports fields and a multipurpose gymnastics hall, 3 restaurants, a gaming bar, and accommodation for tourists. The surrounding forests are full of wild mushrooms every year.
