Castles and chateaux

Grabštejn Castle
The castle and chateau of Grabštejn stand on a steep buttress of land not far from the valley of the Lusatian Nisa River at a place where the flow of the river leaves the mountainous landscape of the North Bohemian border area and Bohemia itself.

Frýdlant Castle
The state castle and chateau in Frýdlant is one of the most distinguished dominant features of the town and one of the most prominent monuments in all Bohemia, since it is a unique combination of medieval castle and Renaissance chateau.

Sychrov Chateau
The chateau currently offers its visitors 2 tours. Both circuits take visitors around the most attractive and interesting interiors and exhibits. The beautiful adjacent park is also well worth a visit. A number of interesting events are staged at the chateau throughout the year.

The Frýdštejn castle ruins
The ruined castle of Frýdštejn is one of three castles in the Jablonec district. We do not know the exact date of foundation, nor are we sure for certain when the Frýdštejn demesne itself was actually created.
