Grabštejn Castle
The castle and chateau of Grabštejn stand on a steep buttress of land not far from the valley of the Lusatian Nisa River at a place where the flow of the river leaves the mountainous landscape of the North Bohemian border area and Bohemia itself. This was originally a Gothic castle that was transformed into a Renaissance chateau during the 16th century. Home to the unique Chapel of St. Barbara (kaple sv. Barbory), with the tower and cellar areas also accessible.
