Theatres and cinemas

• F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec (Divadlo F.X.Šaldy v Liberci)

  A cultural facility whose significance extends beyond the Liberec Region. The Liberec theatre building is undoubtedly one of the best architectural structures of its kind in the country.

• Municipal Theatre in Jablonec nad Nisou (Městské divadlo v Jablonci nad Nisou)

  The Municipal Theatre in Jablonec nad Nisou currently offers regular visitors subscription categories that focus on plays, music, fairytales for children, performances for students, opera, and ballet. There are more than two hundred performances at the theatre every year attended by around eighty thousand visitors.

• The Radnice Cinema (Kino Radnice) in Jablonec

  The cinema has a capacity of 410 seats. It screens films twice a day and is equipped with a Dolby Digital sound system. It is one of the top 50 cinemas in the Czech Republic.

• The Junior Cinema (Kino Junior) in Jablonec

  A sort of cinema club. The cinema has a capacity of 175 seats and screens films twice a day. It is equipped with a Dolby Stereo sound system. This cinema also shows arthouse films.

• The Summer Cinema (Letní kino) in Jablonec

  The summer cinema only screens films between June and August. The cinema has a capacity of 1400 seats.
