Day 4: “The Pěnčín recreation centre and Černá Studnice viewing tower” (ideal for families with children)

A - take the bus from Jablonec to Pěnčín (around 10 km), where you await an excursion into the world of glass bead production, a tour of a goat farm with its own production plant and a taste of the goat's cheese made, a ride on a team of horses, and the chance to have lunch at the local restaurant ( www.fipobex.cz, tel. +420 483 368 468). Finally take the local excursion "train" to the Černá Studnice viewing tower and take in the wonderful views of Jablonec and the surrounding area. Recharge the batteries with, for example, an ice cream sundae in the local restaurant (tel.: +420 731 480 049) and enjoy a pleasant walk back to Jablonec nad Nisou (approximately 4 km).

B - from Jablonec head for Pěnčín and Černá Studnice by car. On the return journey you might like to stop by the spring of the Lužice Nisa River or at the natural science museum in Smržovka (tel.: +420 483 369 341), before returning to Jablonec.
