Closure of the Smědavská Road

Road II/290 in the section Desná, Souš — Smědava has been closed since 18 November 2025 from 14:00 on 18 November 2025 due to a covered layer of snow and freezing of the road. The closure is valid until further notice.

Recommended detours:

• Official Detour leads through Liberec — Jablonec nad Nisou — Tanvald and measures approximately 70 km.
• Experienced drivers They can choose an alternative route via poland, and this through Nové Město pod Smrkem — Szklarska Poreba.
