Whether you want to follow the footsteps of nature on nature trails, visit an amusement park, or enjoy creative workshops and playful exhibitions — in Jizerky you will find everything that will entertain children and give adults a moment of rest. In the Jizera Mountains, for example, you will find a plethora of nature trails that will entertain both children and adults. In our section TRIPS you can choose from many planned routes, on which you will find a lot of interesting places. In addition, they are suitable for families with children — you can tell by the family symbol in the lower left corner. Choose the route that is closest to you, call the mountains and you can go!
If you are in Liberec, one day with your family will not be enough for you. Smaller explorers, up to about 8 years of age, will have a lot of fun on the four floors IQPark. The exposition, located here, will bring the little ones closer to the world of water, the human body, the world of laboratories or help them choose their dream profession in a fun way! You can also visit a mini-exhibition about the Jizera Mountains. For the elderly, there is a science center directly opposite Babylon iQlandia, aimed at popularizing science. Over an area of more than 4000 m! 2 They will find 11 different thematic expositions — get to know the human body, the universe or the natural elements better! Here you can try all sorts of physical or chemical experiments on your own and thus return to school desks together with your children.
With the whole family you can plan a stay in BABYLON Center. Here you will find a huge water park, in which both children and adults will have fun. Children will enjoy the atmosphere of verneovets, water slides and adrenaline funnel, wild river or water slides, while parents relax in the Sauna World, in the hot tubs or in the relaxation zone. Right from the water park you can go to relax in the summer on the huge Solní terrace, where you will have Liberec and Ještěd in the palm of your hand. In Babylon, children will also find the Funpark, where they will find a huge number of attractions that will test their agility and movement skills. The Jizera Mountains are also famous for their rich glass history, which is also attractive for children — they can string beads, watch how costume jewelry is made and in many places around the Jizera Mountains they can have a creative flair in various workshops. Stop with them, for example, in Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. Here they can fill out the Muzejníček worksheet as part of the tour, put on a bracelet made of beads as a keepsake or have fun in the creative workshops at the local studio on selected days. Shop Glassunicum Smržovka also offers creative workshops for children, focusing on various topics and creating both bracelets and glass flowers or dream catchers. Other workshops children can enjoy in the shop Beadgame in Alšovice - create pictures of glass beads and rhinestones or put on beaded bracelets as a keepsake.
V Liberci se s dětmi můžete vydat například do Severočeského muzea MUZA. Zde mají pro děti připravený speciální program s místním maskotem, kocourem Pacourkem. Malí průzkumníci si hravou formou projdou expozice, budou následovat zanechané stopy a umění jim tak bude přiblíženo zábavnou formou. Rodiny s dětmi mohou využít také jejich videoprůvodce po Liberci - pro děti i s pracovními listy!
