If you are in Liberec, one day with your family will not be enough for you. Smaller explorers, up to about 8 years of age, will have a lot of fun on the four floors IQPark. The exposition, located here, will bring the little ones closer to the world of water, the human body, the world of laboratories or help them choose their dream profession in a fun way! You can also visit a mini-exhibition about the Jizera Mountains. For the elderly, there is a science center directly opposite Babylon iQlandia, aimed at popularizing science. Over an area of more than 4000 m! 2 They will find 11 different thematic expositions — get to know the human body, the universe or the natural elements better! Here you can try all sorts of physical or chemical experiments on your own and thus return to school desks together with your children.

Children will enjoy the atmosphere of verneovets, water slides and adrenaline funnel, wild river or water slides, while parents relax in the Sauna World, in the hot tubs or in the relaxation zone. Right from the water park you can go to relax in the summer on the huge Solní terrace, where you will have Liberec and Ještěd in the palm of your hand. In Babylon, children will also find the Funpark, where they will find a huge number of attractions that will test their agility and movement skills. They enjoy themselves on climbing slides, slides or trampolines. In the local Lunapark, children will enjoy a pilgrimage every day of the year, for example, at the autodrome, during the taming of a wild bull or mini golf.
Action and adventure lovers will also enjoy themselves in Liberec Mercuria Laser Games. You can embark on an adventurous event in the Three Worlds arena - it combines an ice plain, a volcanic valley and a green forest - in the midst of it all, a hot volcano awaits. The Jizera Mountains are also famous for their rich glass history, which is also attractive for children — they can string beads, watch how costume jewelry is made and in many places around the Jizera Mountains they can have a creative flair in various workshops. Stop with them, for example, in Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. Here they can fill out the Muzejníček worksheet as part of the tour, put on a bracelet made of beads as a keepsake or have fun in the creative workshops at the local studio on selected days. Shop Glassunicum Smržovka also offers creative workshops for children, focusing on various topics and creating both bracelets and glass flowers or dream catchers. Other workshops children can enjoy in the shop Beadgame in Alšovice - create pictures of glass beads and rhinestones or put on beaded bracelets as a keepsake.
In Liberec, you can go with children, for example, to North Bohemian Museum MUZA. Here they have a special program for children with the local mascot, the cat Pacourke. The little explorers will playfully walk through the expositions, follow the footprints left behind and the art will be brought closer to them in an entertaining way. On the other side of the Golden Cross is Gallery Spa. It also has a program for families with children. Here you will find baby playrooms for the little ones, which are focused on the work of selected artists, or on a specific exhibition. Expositions focusing on energy, aviation, textile production and stories of air accidents in the region await you in the authentic environment of the former factory. Walk through the original engine room and boiler room, view historic aircraft engines and learn about remarkable finds from crashed aircraft. Thanks to the cooperation with the Technical University of Liberec, you will also get an insight into the secrets of traditional textile production, which are inherent in the Jizera region. The museum is an ideal trip tip even for little tech lovers.
In the butterfly house Papilonia At the OC Forum in Liberec, children can explore the mystery of a crashed plane in the jungle up close - and in between, enjoy the immediate proximity of all sorts of butterflies. The atmosphere of this butterfly house transports visitors to the adventurous tropical forest with the wreckage of the plane. Hundreds of different species of butterflies fly between them. This is a beautiful and unrepeatable experience that will excite both children and adults.
