BEADGAME

Since 1948, Beadgame is engaged in the production of glass beads, rhinestones and products from them, including children's games and costume jewelry. The company ranks among the largest producers and exporters of quality hand-pressed beads in the Czech Republic. The production of pressed beads has been known in Bohemia since the beginning of the 18th century. Glass beads very quickly became a popular export item and a demanded accessory of clothing. A great development of this production occurred in Jablonec in the 1920s, when small glass factories began to be established there, which laid the foundation for the Jablonec costume jewellery production. If you want to spend a pleasant day with traditional crafts, try creative workshops, adventure tourism and visit the Beadgame glass production museum between the towns of Železný Brod and Jablonec nad Nisou.

In creative workshops, you will try creating with glass pearls, from which you can create beautiful souvenirs for loved ones. There is also adventure hiking, where you can try the very creation of pressed glass and pearls. You can end the day at the Museum of Glassmaking, where you will learn everything you need about the history of glassmaking.
