Enjoy the Hejnice summer!

The summer months bring several cultural events to Hejnic that are worth paying attention to. At the beginning of July, the city turns into a vibrant center of music, tradition and entertainment thanks to the Hejnice festivities. In the following weeks, concerts of the Dvořák Festival will be held in the Church of the Visitation of Our Lady.

Festas de Festas de Festas 2025

The festivities will take place on the weekend of July 5 and 6 and follow the historical tradition of pilgrimage celebrations associated with the anniversary of the ordination of the local church. Today, they are among the largest cultural events in the city and attract visitors from all over the region every year.

A rich program for the whole family is ready. You can look forward to concerts of famous artists and local bands, a colorful fair, carousels, a funfair, a funfair, refreshments and an accompanying program for children and adults.

This year you can look forward to concerts by Katarína Knechtová, Pekař, Limity and Pam Rabbit. At the same time, the festivities will be a fundraiser in support of five-year-old Misha, whose proceeds will help with the purchase of a special stroller and rehabilitation aids.‍

Dvořák Festival in Hejnice

The Church of the Visitation of Our Lady in Hejnice will be the venue for three concerts as part of the Dvořák Festival. In an acoustically exceptional setting, Dvořák's Requiem will be performed by leading soloists, choir and chamber orchestra.

Concerts are held on these dates:
- July 5 from 15.30
- August 2 from 15.30
- August 30 from 15.30

At the same time, these exceptional concerts are part of the celebrations of 300 years since the consecration of the temple. The festival's dramaturgy thus sensitively connects the spiritual meaning of the place with music that has a deep overlap.
