We invite you to a unique walk along the educational trail Bedřichov Views. Our guide will be historian Lubor Lacina, who will engagingly describe how a small glassmaking settlement became one of the most famous sports centers in our country. The route offers two circuits of varying difficulty, so both families with children and more experienced hikers will find something for themselves.

What will you learn during the walk?

• Glassmaking Past: Where glassworks once stood and what daily life in the mountains was like.
• The Jizerská 50 Phenomenon: Stories from behind the scenes of the legendary race, which is inextricably linked to Bedřichov.
• Local Landmarks: We will stop at minor and major landmarks that we often overlook.
• Nature and Views: We will show you Bedřichov from a perspective that you will love.

🏭 2. Tanvald: A town with an industrial soul through the mayor's eyes

Do you only pass through Tanvald on your way to the mountains? Stop and discover a town with a fascinating industrial past and views that will surprise you! We invite you to a unique guided walk through Tanvald, specifically its part Šumburk and the surrounding area. Our guide will be the Mayor of Tanvald Mgr. Jan Prašivka, who will guide us through the town's rich history – from the heyday of Tanvald's industry to the transformations the town is experiencing today.

What can you look forward to?

• Industrial footprint: We'll recall the times when Tanvald was the industrial heart of the region.
• Modern transformations: We'll see how the town is flourishing and what new developments are underway in its streets.
• Valley views: The route offers a peaceful journey with beautiful views of the city, nestled among the Jizera Hills.
• Discussion and Highlights: A unique opportunity to ask the mayor anything you'd like to know about Tanvald.

⛰️ 3. Albrechtice in the Jizera Mountains: Hidden Stories and Panoramas

Join us to uncover the stories hidden in Albrechtice in the Jizera Mountains. We'll guide you from the train station, through the entire center, to the most beautiful viewpoints, known primarily by locals. You'll learn fascinating historical tidbits, interesting facts about the unique mountain railway, and what life is like in the village today.

What to expect on the route?

• History and Traditions: Interesting facts about the mountain rack railway and the deep-rooted glassmaking tradition.
• Architecture and Monuments: Significant and interesting places you might regularly walk past without noticing.
• Panoramic Views: Stops at viewpoints where you'll have the Jizera Mountains spread out before you.
• Expert Commentary: Commentary filled with fascinating information and regional insights.
