Magical night under the Jizerkami: Where will the most beautiful hearths flare up this year?

If you want to enjoy the celebrations ahead of time, head to the pitch at Ferdinandova on Saturday. From 15:00 there are competitions for children and braiding, DJ Benny and the spectacular Hypnotica fireshow & lightshow will take care of the evening entertainment. More information here.

🔥 Main program on Thursday, April 30:

• Jablonec nad Nisou: The Mšeno Dam will come alive from 15:00 with a magnificent modern concept of traditions, as part of the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the elevation of Jablonec nad Nisou to the city. You can enjoy night markets, an interactive playground with HafiQ robot, a steampunk fire show and a lantern parade accompanied by water scouts. Tip: On April 29, a workshop for the manufacture of lanterns takes place in the Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery. More information here.
• Liberec — Vysina: A themed afternoon for the whole family awaits you at the Liberecká Výšina lookout tower. There is a witch trail, a haunted tower, face painting and a special menu. Of course, there is a common toasting of skewers in unique scenes above the city. More information here.
• Liberec — NORDBEANS: Cafe Sweet & Bakery on Ruprechtice Street bets on the neighborhood's well-being. In the backyard by the fire, you can roast classic and vegan burgers, sip wine or beer and enjoy a relaxing evening accompanied by music and an informal atmosphere. More information here.
• Frýdlant: The program starts at 16:00 at T.G. Masaryka Square, from where the parade will go to the fire training ground under the castle. Here children are waiting for a bouncy castle, horseback riding and a disco, adults can look forward to evaluating the best masks and music by DJ Benny. More information here.
• Foothills: The Hejnice car camp opens its doors at 4 p.m. Traditional celebrations will offer the burning of a large hearth, contests for children and roasting of burritos. The highlight of the afternoon, as every year, will be the popular choice of the most beautiful witch mask. More information here.
• Smrzovka: At Parkhotel, the programme starts at 6pm, with the lamppon-shaped parade setting off from City Hall at 7pm. After lighting a hearth and dancing performances by local pupils, there is a disco for all generations with DJ Michal Tůma and rich snacks from the firefighters. More information here.
• Tanvald: The camp at Tanvaldské Špičák starts at 17:00 with a themed workshop in RC Lighthouse. After a lantern parade, the border at Honvarda catches fire at 8.30pm. Fireworks will light up the evening sky, and accompanying music will be played to listen and dance. More information here.
• Josefův Dul: On the pitch behind the municipal office, revelry breaks out at 5pm after the arrival of the lampion parade. Firemen and Kiosek Dřevěnka will provide food and drinks, children will be entertained during the prepared competitions and the rock band KOMPRESS will play for a good mood. More information here.
• Kořenov — Příchovice: Lesopark Na Slunní invites you from 17:30 to a relaxing evening in nature. In addition to the traditional fire, guests can enjoy specialties from the smokehouse, honest homemade langoustines and freshly draft beer. More information here.
• Spa Libverda: On the football field in Lázně Libverda, an evening full of classics and good mood is about to be prepared. You will enjoy the traditional ritual burning of a witch, a communal sitting by the fire with toasting starlings and a musical accompaniment that will underline the local spa comfort. • Raspenava: The volunteer fire brigade Raspenava and Lužec invites you to the premises of the local swimming pool from 17:00 onwards. Children can look forward to face painting and a varied accompaniment program, while the main star of the evening will be a traditional bonfire and a competition for the best witch mask. • Principle: Celebrations here will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with the gathering of a lampion parade in the square. The parade will then head to the football field, where entertainment and plentiful refreshments will be prepared. The notional icing on the cake will be a spectacular fireworks display, which will light up just after dark. More information here.
• Desna: At the fire armory in Desná II, the merriment begins at 17:00. Firefighters are appealing for honest goodies from the smokehouse, hot dogs and traditional Krkonoše sekkory. Music will be played for food and dancing, and at 7:30 p.m., there will be a ceremonial burning of the border. More information here.
