Liberec

In Liberec you will find a variety of tours organized by the City Information Centre Liberec during the summer. Every day you can take a tour of the Liberec City Hall, enter the representative ceremonial hall and ascend to the Town Hall Tower, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the Jizera Mountains. In addition, guides will take you through the historic center of the city as well as lesser-known neighborhoods. The program changes regularly, so even locals can experience something new every time. Jablonec nad Nisou

Newly, you can also take part in a guided tour of the baroque church of St. Anne in the city center. The guide will introduce you to the history of the church, its organ cycle and the roles it has played in the life of the town.

Thanks to the application SmartGuide You can also get to know Jablonec on your own, but with a guide it is always a little more lively. A unique opportunity is for example a tour of the Jablonec Town Hall with researcher and writer Marek Řeháček, which takes place on July 18 and August 1.

In addition, you can try the traditional Wandering around the Jablonec towers. This summer activity offers a visit to three observation towers — Jablonec Town Hall, Královka and Bramberk observation towers. On each of them, you get a stamp in the playing card, and after collecting all three, you will receive a reward that can be picked up at tourist information centers.

Frýdlant

Every Monday during the summer, Frýdlant comes alive with guided tours at 10 am and 2 pm. You can buy tickets at the information center, and you can walk through the historic center and listen to the stories of the city. The city museum in the town hall features exhibits charting the historical development of the city, including crafts and a picture gallery. Nearby is the building of the former hospital, which now houses the Špitálek Municipal Museum with archaeological and craft collections dating back to the 16th century. After the tour, you can visit the observation tower Frýdlantská výina or the Hill of the Cross, from where you can see an exceptional view of both ordinary and festive Frýdlant. Frýdlant has its own special atmosphere that you will definitely love!

Desna

In Desná, during the holidays, you can look at a truly unusual place - Riedel's tomb. The cultural and information centre in the Riedel Villa makes this unique monument accessible every Wednesday between 13:00 and 15:00. The tomb of the glass king Josef Riedel symbolically overlooks the local glass valley - when you visit it, you will find out why there are other attractions.
