If you want to spend a pleasant afternoon walking in Jablonec - take a walk through the dam here!

Locals sometimes call it the “Jablonec Sea”, and it's no wonder. It is the largest urban water area in Central Europe. It was built in 1906—1909 and approved 1911 to protect against floods that plagued the population living in the foothills. From the city center you can reach it after a quarter of an hour walk along Palacký Street.
