Palacký Trail

on foot

On a walking tour we will remember two Czech greats — František Palacký and Jára Cimrman.

About the trip

You will follow the Palacký Trail from the village of Plavy through the most beautiful section of the Kamenice river valley. Following the trail you will still walk through a bit of wild nature to the ruins of the 14th-century Navarov Castle, standing on a rocky promontory above the river Kamenice. The Palacký Trail lines the Kamenici River with wild natural scenery and takes you through more challenging terrain.

The entrance to the ruins of the Navarov Castle is allowed to the public only between April 1 and October 31.
