Are you planning a trip and looking for a comfortable way to get to the mountains? See an up-to-date overview of seasonal routes, including news and traffic restrictions.
Seasonal tourist lines are back in operation and will offer convenient connections to the most attractive places of the Jizera Mountains. You can also use bicycle transport connections, which will take you up to the Jizerka or to the dams.
The operation of these lines is ensured until 28 September 2025, with some reinforced even on weekends and public holidays. An overview of all routes with a map and the possibility of downloading timetables can be found on the website IDOLS.
But this year, rail closures are also affecting traffic, which may bring changes to timetables. If you are planning to travel by train, we recommend that you check in advance for updates on lockouts and replacement traffic that may limit bicycle transportation. Detailed information, including lockout timetables, is available on the website IDOLS and Czech Railways.
On trains with the carriage of bicycles, the rule applies: until capacity is exhausted. In the case of alternative bus transport, the transport of bicycles is only possible to a limited extent.
