The highest dam in the Jizera Mountains is Bedřichovská Reservoir on the Black Nise. In addition to recreation, the dam serves to power hydroelectric plants and also for fishing. Access to the dam is only possible on foot or by bike, and in the winter months by cross-country skiing, as it is located in a protected zone.
In the summer months it is possible to swim in the dam, in winter it is possible to go cross-country skiing along the frozen surface. You can observe the calm water surface of the dam from observation piers, walk around the leading roads and along the dam.
