Blatny Pond

Originally there used to be two ponds on this place - Lower and Upper. The lower pond no longer exists today, its remains absorbed by the waters of the Josefodol Dam. The upper pond, called today Blatný, was built in 1780 for the needs of the then manor sawmill and until 1897 used to be the only water reservoir in the Jizera Mountains.
