Head to the source of the Nisa and visit the place where the quiet mountain water begins its journey through Europe — right in the heart of the Jizera Mountains
.avif)
The river Nisa springs at the edge of the village of Nová Ves. The course of the river has a length of 252 km and flows into the Oder River near Ratzdorf, Germany. A monument was erected at its source in 1980. Today this place is a frequent destination for tourists, both on foot and by bike, because in these places the Nisa-Odra long-distance cycle path begins, along which you can reach the Baltic Sea.
