Petřín Lookout Tower, the iconic landmark of Jablonec nad Nisou, has reopened to visitors after reconstruction and offers breathtaking views of the Jizera Mountains, Ještěd, the Giant Mountains and the wider surroundings. From the 20 meter high tower, which has been standing on top of Petřín (formerly Nickelkoppe) since 1906, you can see up to six other viewpoints in the landscape and plan your next trips. The climb up the new 100-step staircase is definitely worth it — the observation tower is freely accessible and the views will reward you at any time of the year.
In addition, under the observation tower there is also an excellent restaurant, focused on First Republic gastronomy with modern accents of Austrian and French cuisine.
