The right-hand tributary of the Jizerka in the upper part of the settlement of Jizerka has been since the 16th a declared site of precious stones, which were located in the headwaters of the stream. In addition to these, there is also a proven find of gold. The most famous gems found here are sapphires, and the site is said to be one of the most valuable in Europe. Other finds include ruby, turmarine, topaz avant-urine, chalcedony, amethyst, crystal, garnet, zircon and others. Hitherto abundant here is ilmenite, which is also called iserin, according to the Jizera Mountains.
