At an altitude of 550 meters near Nové Město pod Smrkem, it springs spring of soursop. This is one of the few natural springs that have been captured. The water here is sparkling, little mineralized and moderately ferrous. It is said that soursop was discovered in 1780 by the blacksmith Johann Nepomuk Legler. However, rumors mention the miraculous effects of medicinal water already in connection with the plague epidemic that struck Frýdlant at the end of the 16th century. There are still several similar healing springs in the vicinity, but this largest spring is accessible. It is available for free collection and you can go to it from Nové Město pod Smrkem.

Locals call the route the longest colonnade in the world, from the city center it is 2.5 kilometers from the center of the village. Although it is a cold spring, it does not freeze in winter and you can toast your health in summer and winter.
