Tanvaldský Špičák Lookout Tower

Observation tower Špičák, inaugurated in 1909, rises on the eponymous peak above Jiřetín pod Buková and offers an unforgettable circular view of the Jizera Mountains, the Giant Mountains, the Ještěd Ridge and the Black Well. The 18-meter tower with an observation deck at a height of 14 meters underwent a complete renovation in 2022, during which it received a new roof, stairs and a visitor's walkway. The summit is easily reached by a cable car, which runs at hourly intervals on weekends during the summer months (July and August), or along a green-marked hiking route.

After the hike, you can also relax and have a snack in the SKI Chata restaurant, which is located right next to the observation tower.
