Mariánskohorské boudy

Marienskohorské boudy, situated at an altitude of 843 m on the Mariánskohorský ridge near Josefova Dol, is one of the most picturesque places in the Jizera Mountains. This former herding settlement of the Krkonoše type was established already in 1705 and bears its name after the nearby Mariánské Hora. Today you will find four mountain cottages and a service station of the Jizera Mountains Regional Planning Administration. The area is popular among hikers and cross-country skiers — the Jizera highway passes through it and the place offers tranquility, views and the charm of history.
