Rock lookout Krásná Mári

One of the most famous rock views of the Jizera Mountains is Beautiful Mary. It is located on the edge of the northern slopes of the Jizera Mountains within sight of the Jizera highway. From the vantage point you will see the roof of the Church of the Visitation of Our Lady in Hejnice, the valley of Štolpichu, Ořesník and also the Jindřichovský ridge.

It got its name from an iron ore mine established in 1582 in the valley below it. Today, no trace remains of the stoles, but a landscaped path leads to the top with steps in the rock and secure metal railings from the early 20th century. The viewpoint offers not only beautiful views, but also a touch of the ancient history of the Jizera Mountains.
