Rock Castle Jezdec

Standing on the rock above the Catherine Valley Prospect RiderIt has more than just a beautiful view. In the 14th or 15th century there was a small guard castle, whose task was to protect the old earth path. After the wooden castle there are only carved pockets in the rock and traces of ditches, but the place is still alive today thanks to the legend of the robber Černý Jír, who with the help of the devil was supposed to jump into the abyss with his horse.

Today, Jezdec is a popular destination for hikers — stairs and railings will take you to the top of the rock, where, in addition to legends, you will also have a truly magical view of the landscape of the Jizera Mountains.
