Upstream of Smedá

Take the easy route through Frýdlant, which will take you from the oldest castle museum in Central Europe, past the Castle Brewery, where you can sample local beers. The steps will take you to the museum in a low-rise building, which is a typical example of local folk architecture, up to the breathtaking basilica, beyond which the breathtaking northern slopes of the Jizera Mountains extend.
