National Nature Reserve Jizera Mountain Beeches is the largest protected area in the Jizera Mountains and at the same time one of the largest in the Czech Republic. In July 2021, its two core parts, Merideník and Štolpich, were listed among UNESCO's natural monuments. In addition to the preserved forest stands, the attractions of the reserve are rock formations of various shapes and rock towers, rocky viewpoints providing romantic views of the surroundings, waterfalls on mountain streams or monuments commemorating various events.
